๐ ๏ธ Primary Tools
- ๐ Interact: Click and drag objects around the canvas to apply forces or move them.
- โ๏ธ Edit: Select this tool, then click an object to open the Inspector and tweak its specific properties (mass, restitution, etc.).
- ๐๏ธ Delete: Select this tool and click an object to remove it from the simulation.
โ Adding Objects
Select a tool from the "Add Objects" panel on the right, then click anywhere on the canvas to place it:
- ๐ต Particle / ๐ฆ Box: Dynamic objects affected by gravity and collisions.
- ๐ Anchor Pin: A static, immovable point. Great for hanging pendulums or attaching springs.
- โ๏ธ Pulley: A rotating wheel used to route strings and change the direction of tension.
๐ Making Connections (Springs & Strings)
To connect two objects together:
- Click ๐ Connect Spring or ๐งต Connect String in the sidebar.
- Click the first object (e.g., an Anchor).
- Click the second object (e.g., a Particle).
โ๏ธ Building Pulley Systems
Pulleys allow you to transfer force around a wheel to lift heavy objects or build counterweights:
- Place one or more โ๏ธ Pulley(s) high up on your canvas (Pulleys act as fixed rotational points).
- Place two dynamic weights (like ๐ฆ Boxes or ๐ต Particles) below the pulley.
- Use the ๐งต Connect String tool to attach your first weight to the pulley.
- Use the string tool again to attach your second weight to the pulley.
- Watch the physics take over! Use the โ๏ธ Edit tool to change the masses of your objects and see which one lifts the other.
๐๏ธ Global Controls & Tray
- Top Sliders: Adjust Gravity, Force limits, and default object properties in real-time.
- Active Scene Objects: The bottom-right panel lists everything currently in your simulation. You can monitor live stats here!
